How to Adjust Brightness and Contrast on a KTC Monitor

Brightness and contrast on KTC displays are usually found in the Display menu, a combined adjustment area, or smart-display settings. Choose the menu location that best fits your screen to get started. If these steps do not fit your screen, use the model links below for exact instructions.

Common menu locations

Display menu

Many KTC monitors keep brightness and contrast in the main Display menu.

Try this:

  1. Open the monitor menu.
  2. Look for Display, Picture, or Image.
  3. Open the brightness or contrast item.
  4. Raise or lower the value until the screen looks right.
  5. Confirm the change if your model asks you to save it.

If one setting changes too much, move it back in small steps instead of making a large jump.

Combined adjustment section

Some models group brightness, contrast, color, and other quick adjustments in one section.

Try this:

  1. Open the menu or quick settings panel.
  2. Find the group that includes brightness and contrast together.
  3. Adjust brightness first.
  4. Adjust contrast second if the picture still looks too flat or too harsh.
  5. Exit the menu and check the image again.

Brightness usually affects overall light output, while contrast changes how strong the difference looks between dark and bright areas.

Smart display settings

Smart-display products may place picture controls inside a system settings screen.

Try this:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Display, Picture, or a similar screen section.
  3. Adjust brightness first.
  4. Adjust contrast if the option is available.
  5. Return to the home or input screen and recheck the image.

Some smart products separate display settings from app or sound settings, so stay inside the display-related section.

If the steps above do not match your screen

Before going to the model list, try these quick checks:

  • turn off HDR or preset picture modes before comparing brightness
  • reset the picture mode if earlier changes made the screen look unusual
  • check whether the model uses a joystick, buttons, touch controls, or a remote
  • look for Eco, Standard, or Game picture presets if direct controls are missing
